Circus North Youth Camp

The South Peace Community Arts Council (SPCAC) has been hosting the annual Dawson Creek Circus Camp since 2009.  

This five-day interactive program is designed for children aged 8 to 18 and offers instruction in various circus arts, including acrobatics, juggling, stilt walking, unicycle riding, costuming, wire walking, and clowning.

The camp culminates in a final performance for family and friends, showcasing the skills participants have acquired.

The 2025 camp is scheduled from Monday, April 14th to Friday, April 18th, with daily sessions from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the South Peace Campus Gym (10808-15 St.).

The cost is $250.00 per child, and includes a recording of the grand performance!

Financial assistance is available through the Dawson Creek Arts and Wellness Funding for those who are looking for support.

The camp is facilitated by the Green Fools Theatre Society, a Calgary-based non-profit organization specializing in physical theatre arts. Their professional instructors focus on teaching circus skills that promote teamwork, confidence, leadership, and respect. The program is inclusive, welcoming children of all developmental levels and abilities, including our friends with exceptionalities. We hope to see you there!
