The City is creating a new Community Tourism Plan, and we need your input.

The purpose of the September 26, 2023 Workshop is to:

• Discuss the current state of tourism in and around Dawson Creek; and,
• Discuss key issues and opportunities to advance tourism.

Additional details regarding the overall process, including key opportunities to provide input, will be outlined at the event.

There will be two formal opportunities for you to provide input into the development of the Community Tourism Plan:

• During the September 26, 2023, kick-off workshop and dinner; and,
• During a visioning and goal-setting workshop in January 2024.

The Northern BC Tourism Association is also a key supporter of this initiative. The plan will be developed between September 2023 and MArch 2024.

Tourism Dawson Creek was established (2001) in response to local operators and business leaders wanting to further develop and diversify the tourism industry in Dawson Creek. Tourism Dawson Creek is the recognized Destination Management Organization (DMO) responsible for the marketing and promotion of Dawson Creek.  Tourism Dawson Creek also operates the Visitor Centre (VC).

TOURISM DAWSON CREEK MANDATE
